We are an Interdenominational College whose purpose is to teach Biblical Foundational Truths and bring unity in the Body of Christ.We desire that men and women would not be tossed by every wind of doctrine, but will know these Bible Truths, walk in them and disciple others in these Truths.

Accreditation

Christian Life Teachings is fully accredited through the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions in Rocky Mount, NC, USA. We are authorized to give Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees.We are also affiliated with Shalom Bible College and Seminary in West Des Moines, Iowa, USA.

Vision 

Our desire is to offer these Foundational Teachings to all people who desire to know and be richly grounded in the Word of God.This vision was birthed in 1989 and is God’s Vision and part of His plan for the restoration of His Church in Africa.

History and Beginnings

CHRISTIAN LIFE TEACHINGS was born in Africa, out of a walk of faith, and a confirmed vision (Isaiah 54:1-5) given by God through His prophet to Joan Melrose in December of 1989. In the fall of 1990 the first school, which taught sixty topics was started in Malakisi, Kenya. Thirteen students graduated with a certificate in the spring of 1991. Many schools were taught in many places after that, until in 1994 another twenty topics were added and a one year diploma was given to the graduates. CLT then combined the basic courses with those of Kenya Ministry Training Institute, which took you through the whole Bible book by book. This gave the college enough credits to give degrees. In 1996 CLT was chartered and affiliated with Shalom Bible College and Seminary and Yahshua International Bible College and Seminary. Post graduate classes through correspondence and live courses taught by guest professors were then added. So in 2005 CLT had grown to the point it received its own accreditation with the American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions in Rocky Mount, NC, USA.

 The central headquarters for Africa is based within the city limits of Bungoma, Kenya, which has an established campus resting on over an acre of land. Currently this campus has a library, classrooms, dormitory, kitchen, dining hall, prayer house, housing for the director and staff and other smaller structures. Because we are a traveling college, satellite schools have been started in market places, villages, and cities bringing the count to over fifty different places the CLT curriculum has been taught in Kenya.

 The headquarters for the USA is based in Kalispell, Montana. The curriculum is also currently being taught in Uganda, Congo, Malawi, India, and the USA. If you desire a school in your area contact the USA headquarters. Other areas and countries can start as God opens the doors.

PURPOSE

Christian Life Teachings is an Interdenominational Bible College founded to teach foundational truths and ground peoples everywhere in these Biblical truths. Our desire is to take these foundational teachings to all people who desire to know and be richly grounded in the Word of God. We desire to obey the Word and go to the people, as Christ commanded in Matthew 28:19-20. We are an established campus school, but also offer correspondence courses.

Another desire of this ministry is to bring unity in the Body of Christ. We believe the Bible teaches that we are all one body, and as all work together in love, we extend the body of Christ around the world. We believe that regardless of our denomination, race, nationality, tribe, language, intelligence, culture, position, wealth, etc., that we are all a part of the body of Christ. That we are all equal in the eyes of our God, and that we all have a purpose and a calling. Ours is to equip and encourage people to fulfill that purpose or that calling in their lives. We desire that men and women would not be tossed by every wind of doctrine, but will know these Biblical truths, walk in them, and disciple others in these truths. Our goal is to prepare a people for the LORD.
